Drivers Against Distracted Driving
In loving memory of Drake Nischeal Prasad
SEPTEMBER 15, 2011 - NOVEMBER 8, 2012.
Drake’s Toy was founded in 2012 by Alvin Prasad and Jessica Herrera in memory of their son Drake Prasad, who passed away from an off duty CHP Officer texting and driving in Stockton, California. Drake’s Toy started as a kind of memorial, but soon took off and became something much bigger. Drake’s Toy is now known for being about bringing awareness to the epidemic that is texting/distracted driving. A 13 month old boy was taken from this Earth much too soon because someone couldn’t wait…a text was more important than paying attention to the road.
More than 5000 Drake’s Toy decals have been sent out around the world. They are on almost every continent. The United states, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, South Africa, Canada and the Phillipines are just a few of the countries that have drivers sporting Drake’s Toy decals. These drivers have made it known that they are against distracted driving and will not put others lives at risk.
